Synopsis In this third Friday in the recent Iliad series, we continue to look (using the Balboa translation ) for occurrences of 'αυτο' (Self) in the text of Book 1 of Homer's Iliad , and consider which of these and which should not be with a capital 'S' (Self). Pierre encourages us to gather now all of these together with the work we have done, and see if we can find a pattern in how Homer is using the idea of Self in the Iliad.
